Hobie Cat Company, founded in 1950, is well known for its innovations in surf boards and catamaran sailboats. Hobie invented the modern surfboard, with a foam core and an epoxy/fiberglass skin.  Before Hobie, surfboards were made from a Balsa wood board.  The foam core and fiberglass skin so popular today inspired a whole new industry of surf companies starting in the early 1960′s.  Hobie surf boards and paddle boards continue to be recognized as some of the finest on the market.

Always an innovator, Hobie is now a leading manufacturer of sit-on-top kayaks and fishing kayaks. Hobie introduced the Mirage Drive system in 1997 and it has revolutionized the sport of kayaking, including kayak fishing. We carry the full line of Hobie Kayaks and select models of Hobie SUP paddle boards, including the popular ATR and DuraSUP boards.  The Hobie DuraSUP 11.5 board is featured in our rental fleet.  This extra strong board is our favorite for its stability on the water and its ability to stand up to the rigors of rental duty.  New ones are currently on sale at $899.

Ocean Kayak, founded in 1971, is one of the world’s largest makers of kayaks. They also make the planet’s most popular kayak, the Malibu Two tandem. We stock a variety of the popular models of Ocean Kayaks,  including the Malibu Two, Yak Board,  and the new Nalu SUP paddleboard.

Yellowfin sells and installs all of the most popular kayak and kayak fishing accessories, like anchor systems, rod mounts, live bait wells,  and comfortable seats.  Basic maintenance and repair parts like drain plugs, fittings and Bungee cords are always in stock.

Outfitting and Repairs: Yellowfin can outfit your kayak with rod holders, GPS, fish finders, anchor systems and other custom outfitting.  If it’s possible, we can do it.  Purchase your accessories at Yellowfin and receive free installation.  Kayak repair and replacement of sun-worn parts is our specialty.  Parts are always in stock for DIY repairs.
